NATO's war on the People of Sirte

Posted by Waterput on Wednesday, September 28, 2011, In : Libya

After weeks of bombing Sirte, a number of civilians have finally spoken out about how NATO is terrorizing the city of Sirte, and according to some civilians NATO is supporting a genocide.

In an article from the Australian (1) we can read the following words from those who were forced to leave their city:
"It has been worse than awful," said Riab Safran, 28, as his car was searched by revolutionary fighters. His family had been sleeping on the beach, he said. "They have hit all kinds of bu...

Who is Who in 'NATO's' Rebel Libya?

Posted by Waterput on Friday, September 23, 2011, In : Libya

(latest update: January 17, 2012)

After NATO has bombed their Rebels into power in Libya, a power vacuum was created, with only the economists Mustafa Abdel 'NATO' Jalil and Mahmud 'Pittsburgh/Free Market' Jibril as the only well-known faces of NATO's TNC. But what about all the other people and Rebels in Libya? Who is the leader of the Misrata, Zintan, Benghazi etc - Rebels?

In order to get a better grip on the power struggle (1) in Libya it is convenient to get to know the players. This is w...

Why accept a Palestinian State consisting of only the Gaza Strip and the West Bank? Hamas and Refugees Oppose

Posted by Waterput on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, In : Libya

While the 'Palestinian president' Abbas is in New York to ask for the recognition of the state of Palestine with the borders of 1967 you hardly hear that there is something very awkward with that. Recognizing the State of Palestine with the 1967 borders would for one imply the recognition of Israel, and it would make it impossible for all those Palestinians that were chased from their homes because the State of Israel was forced upon them in 1948 by those who won World War II.

President Abbas ...

While Cameron and Sarkozy are in Tripoli, NATO warplanes still drop their deadly bombs on Libyan Cities

Posted by Waterput on Friday, September 16, 2011, In : Libya

While Nicholas Sarkozy (with this big warmonger friend, Lévy) and David Cameron are welcomed by their Puppets, Mustafa 'NATO' Jalil and Mahmud 'Virginia' Jibril in Tripoli, the warplanes of NATO are heavily bombarding the Libyan cities who oppose their rule, killing everyone who wants to defend themselves against them. The civilians in these cities are apparently not worth protecting.

It is hard to swallow my anger against such blatant hypocrisy - the protection of civilians is now no longer ...

US and Saudi Arabian Forces back Yemeni Army to Kill Rebels

Posted by Waterput on Sunday, September 11, 2011, In : Libya

The hypocrisy of the United States is sometimes dazzling. While they have abused the UN-Resolution on Libya to protect civilians, in order to oust the internationally recognized government, by supporting a branch of Rebels, they are actively supporting and aiding the killing of Rebels in Yemen. In this, they work together with the forces of the absolute monarch of Saudi Arabia.

This happens at the time that NATO is definitely not protecting the civilians of Libyan cities like Bani Walid, Sirte...

Middle East - A vast market for UK Defence and Security Companies - by John Pilger

Posted by Waterput on Saturday, September 10, 2011, In : Libya

Here's a wonderful article by independent journalist John Pilger that appeared on his own website on September 8, 2011 (1). I added the pictures, to make it a bit more attractive.

''On 13 September 2011, one of the world's biggest arms fairs opens in London, backed by the British government. On 8 September, the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a preview entitled "Middle East: A vast market for UK defence and security companies". The host was the Royal Bank of Scotland, a major ...

Libya and the Power of Collective Thought

Posted by Waterput on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, In : Libya

Yesterday I listened to an interview on the Dutch radio with a woman who had contacts in Libya. In that particular interview she said that she wanted one of Gaddafi's sons, Matassim, to help her with a new project for the aid of people with Alzheimer. What was telling was the response of the interviewer, who remarked with a smile that Gaddafi is not really known for his charity projects, suggesting that Gaddafi was only the cruel dictator spending the money of Libya for his own family. You on...

A New Dream for a Sovereign Libya

Posted by Waterput on Sunday, September 4, 2011, In : Libya

''Let the Libyans decide about their own future'' is a slogan that is often heard during the international meetings on Libya of dozens of countries. The mere fact that so many nations come together in order to talk about the future of Libya should be a warning sign for the people of Libya themselves. What I present here is a dream for a new Sovereign Libya which might just be an acceptable plan for the great majority of Libyans.

The 'New Libyan Dream' is based on the following assumptions:

- Mo...

Racism in NATO's 'New Libya'

Posted by Waterput on Saturday, September 3, 2011, In : Libya

On this page I will collect articles and videos dealing with racism in NATO's Libya. If you come across any recent videos dealing with racism please contact me, so I can add it to this page.

The main reason for the initial aggression and killings of dark-skinned Africans in Libya was due to the false claim by channels like Al-Jazeera who said that the Libyan Army would be using foreign mercenaries to fight the people of Libya. This was later proved to be false by Human Rights Watch (1). They t...
