Saudi Arabia's Breath of Death

September 26, 2015

On September 24, 2015 717 people were killed in the stampede in the Saudi-Arabian capital of Mecca (1). This incident in the country named after the family of Saud was another example of how death seems to stick to this biggest country on the Arabian Peninsula.

Not only is the country well-known for its brutal beheadings which are part of their judicial system (2), with over 100 people killed in the first 6 months of 2015, it is also probably the main driving force behind the bloody war in Syria: the country has sponsored Islamic State Terrorists for years with salaries and loads of weapons (3). If that weren't enough it is for months bombing it's neighboring country Yemen killing many civilians along the way (4). Let's not forget how Saudi tanks invaded Bahrain in 2011 to end the demonstrations against the rule of another dictator in that country (6).

How is it possible that a country can get away with all this? Amnesty International through James Lynch has blamed the US and the UK for backing Saudi Arabia in it's war on Yemen. For a long time the Western countries allied with Saudi-Arabia in their attempt to topple the government of Bashar al-Assad, and there are hardly any western countries who are brave enough to point a finger to the mighty oil-rich country.

Let's just hope that because of the fast changes taking place in the international political arena, Iran, Syria and Russia will get more support leading to less support for the dictatorship of King Salman, who, by some is already called, King Salman the Axe.

Below a rally in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a against the agression by the Saudi warplanes (most of them bought from their Western friends) on september 21, 2015 (5)

On the Dronification of Africa by the US

February 23, 2013
On February 23, 2013 it became clear that the US would deploy 100 troops to the African country of Niger, in order to assist the French troops in Mali with intelligence (1).

A few weeks before the Niger government approved the building of a new drone base in their country. This would mean the second US drone base on the African continent, after the one in Djibouti, which is used for the assassinations of people in Yemen.

In 2011 president Obama has sent 100 troops to Uganda (2). At (3,4) you ca...

What did Israel strike in Syria on January 30, 2013: a Convoy or a Research Center?

January 30, 2013

(updated on February 4, 2013, 20:28h)

On Wednesday, January 30, 2013, reports surfaced which seemed to suggest that Israel attacked Syria twice from the air. First it would have struck a convoy of weapons that was heading to Lebanon, supposedly to Hezbollah (1), and according to another source it would have hit a research center at Jamraya in Damascus countryside (2).

What has happened here? Later it turned out that there was only one strike, but the sources differ on what was hit by the Israe...

Rupert Sheldrake on Science's delusional belief that it has understood the nature of Reality in Principle

January 30, 2013

In a wonderful lecture during a conference in Albuquerque, New Mexico in January 2013, Rupert Sheldrake questions the belief system of current science. He speaks of Science's delusion as the belief that science has basically understood the nature of reality and that only a few details in the margins need clarification. Watch these videos by a scientist, who exemplifies the way a true scientist should be: daring, creative, confrontative and explorative.

Pepe Escobar on the US Failures in Libya and Egypt and their Future Shadow Wars

January 29, 2013

I love the reports by Pepe Escobar. On January 28, 2013, he talked to RT (*) on the failures of the US policy in both Libya and Egypt. Pepe has got the gift to speak with a smile and still have a very strong analysis (1). For me he is an example of the ideal journalist. He says things like: "As far as Egypt, the US was finally embracing the crazy policy of the Qatari Government, which you can sum up as nothing but Muslim Brotherhood in the Arab World."

He states that the majority of the pe...

No Legal Prosecutions against Opposition Members when they Participate in National Dialogue (and other news)

January 28, 2013
On January 28, 2013, Syria has sent two letters to the UN in which the plans are outlined that were presented by President Assad during his speech on January 6, which were ridiculed by many western media (1).

One element is that all legal prosecutions against any opposition political figure is stopped when that particular person participates in the national dialogue which could bring about peace in Syria, as long as there are people willing to join the National Dialogue, and stop the killing...

January 27, 2013
In the news bulletin from the Free Syrian Press on January 27, 2013 (1) we can hear about an initiative in the Syrian village of Al-Salamiyyeh, in the Hama countryside, where students and the Association of Youth have joined forces to rehabilitate their schools which were used by these western-backed terrorist killing squads.

The town of al-Salamiya witnessed a cruel bomb explosion on January 21 that killed 32 citizens and caused the destruction of the National Hospital. The Syrian Ministry th...

Is there a Shift in the Position of the Enemies of Syria towards President Assad?

INTRODUCTION

The international positions towards the crisis in Syria have been clear for quite some while now. There are basically two positions: one that calls for dialogue between the parties within Syria combined with a rejection of foreign interference. The other position is far more aggressive and calls for regime change in Syria with a rejection of dialogue and a strong support for the armed gangs or the 'opposition' against the Syrian government.

The aggressive position is sup...

That combination of Colors reminds me of something
That combination of Colors reminds me of something

For those who want to make the world a better place, there are various paths to travel. If you take a look at the articles on World Mathaba you can get an idea of quite a few possible roads to take. One route is to inform people about the way we are being fooled and manipulated: explain to people how the media are being used to make you think in a certain direction and to stop you from knowing the real truth. The geo-political dynam...

In which Timeline would you prefer to Live?

Can we alter the strength of a certain timeline?
Can we alter the strength of a certain timeline?

I remember this Star Trek episode in which a group of rather unkind beings had phenomenal abilities to see into the future. They had this grand hall filled with 'clouds', where each cloud portrayed a particular timeline, or a certain turn of events. At a certain stage they were very pleased with their future, because nearly all possible timelines in these clouds showed an outcome that would grant these beings absolute power over a cer...
